The main

skill set required is very strong in SQL and Azure synapse.

Development

activities:

- Ability

to gather and understand requirements by studying features/ user stories

created for requirements and work on implementing them.

- Design

and development for the change requests from client.

- Ability

to analyze existing data flow and suggest for any enhancements/ improvements

based on the technical expertise.

- Preparing

test scenarios/ test cases for the user stories and sharing the unit testing

results as part of the development completion.

Operations

activities:

- Monitor

data extract, transform, and load (ETL) jobs, pipelines and work to fix the job

failures.

- Troubleshooting

to identify data issues and solving any data discrepancies and providing

business intelligence insights.

- Provide

support to the users on any data related questions/issues reported during UAT

and PROD cycles.

Technicalskills:

Expertise/

at least 7+ years of experience in

- Microsoft

SQL Server

o Database

and ETL design concepts

o T

SQL

o SQL

server Analysis server

o Fluent

in DAX queries (good to have)

- Azure

Synapse - including creating scripts for ETL using Python(pyspark)

- Experience

with excel - includes creating data pivots to different sources for analyzing

- Good

to have prior experience with Microsoft projects, process, and tools (like

VSTS, VSO)

**Education:** Bachelor-s

degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business

Administration, or a related field.
