    Position Description

    The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking an In-House Attorney to handle a wide variety of complex legal matters and projects with a primary focus in customer contracting. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented attorney to support a broad range of customer-facing contracting needs. Responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating customer agreements; coordinating complex strategies with outside counsel; advising on current legal matters and developments; and providing general legal support to the company\u2019s sales and operations teams. The role is based at our Houston, Texas facility and requires up to 25% travel.

     

    Training

    Requirements

    Doctor of Jurisprudence from an accredited law school.~^~Prefer 3+ years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel in a corporate setting, preferably with a focus in contract negotiation and drafting.~^~Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.~^~Exercise exceptional legal reasoning, analysis, and drafting abilities.~^~Possess strong negotiating skills and reasoned judgment.~^~Must be adaptive and able to work productively both independently and as a member of a team.~^~Must be able to communicate effectively with executive and associate level employees both orally and in writing.~^~Must be coachable and willing to learn.
