    Summary:

    Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.

     

    **Required Certification:** Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** You may qualify for the position through one of the following ways:

    • 6 months acute care experience as a patient caregiver

    • 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a patient caregiver

    • Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN program

    • Completion of a Baycare approved Nurse Assistant/PCT program (program must include a minimum of 40 hours OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM clinical hours)

    **Education** : Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; may also qualify with a Certificate of Completion

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: No

     

    Shift Hours:** **12-hour Shift --Days or Nights

     

    Weekend Work:** **Every Other

    On Call:** **No
