BayCare is currently in search of our newest **Technologist Assistant** who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Position Details:

+ **Facility:** **BayCare Health System, CIC MRI-MPM SRVCS**

+ **Location:** **MPH Axelrod Pavilion - Clearwater, FL**

+ **Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: No**

+ **Shift Hours:** **Fri, Sat, Sun 6am- 6pm**

+ **Shift** **: Shift 1, Days**

+ **Weekend Work:** **Every**

+ **On Call:** **No**

**Technologist Assistant** **Responsibilities** :

+ Imaging ,under the direction of the clinical manager, assists with patient screening, room set up and prepares patient for exam.

+ Prepares contrast for exam and loads contrast injector as necessary.

+ Provides patient education as instructed by the Imaging Technologist and performs patient education documentation in the patient electronic record.

+ Follows MRI Level II training requirements and standards, where applicable.

+ Works with clinical staff to meet department turnaround times and maintain appropriate exam start times.

+ Responsibilities may be expanded or restricted at the discretion of the manager, based upon patient volumes and/or the needs of the department.

Requirements:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ High School Graduate or Equivalent GED

+ 1 year Hospital Transport or Hospital in related field required (for inpatient/hospital position only)

+ 1 year Business Related, Imaging Services, Medical Office experience preferred
