    BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at North Bay Hospital. Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is West Pasco County’s only not-for-profit community hospital and has 120 acute care beds.     The Registered Respiratory Therapist - Regular Pool team member is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.

    Position Details

    + **Facility:** BayCare Health System – Respiratory Service Care

    + **Location:** St. Josephs Hospital South

    + **Status:** POOL, Exempt: No

    + **Shift Hours:** 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

    + **Shift:** Days (Shift 1)

    + **Weekend Work:** Every Other

    + **On Call:** No

    + **Remote Work:** Never

    Responsibilities:

    + Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of a physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.

    + Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    + Performs diagnostic testing and respiratory assessment and evaluations.

    + Work requirement of 4 shifts a month

    Certifications and Licensures Required:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + RRT (Respiratory Therapy)

    + Active NBRC Credential for RRT

    + ACLS (Cardiovascular) - within 6 months

    + PALS (Pediatric) - Preferred

    + NRP (Neonatal) - Preferred

    Education Required:

    + Technical Respiratory Therapy

    + Associate's Respiratory Therapy - Preferred

    Experience Required:

    + 2 years in Respiratory

    Specific Skills Required:

    + Collaborate and work with a team

    + Clinical skills appropriate to position

    + Computer skills appropriate to position
