    • **Shift:** 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)

    • **Schedule:** Full-Time | Occasional Weekends

    Role Overview

     

    As a **Clinical Laboratory Scientist I** , you will perform diagnostic testing to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely laboratory results. You will carry out quality control procedures, prepare reagents, maintain equipment, oversee moderate to high‑complexity testing, and support efficient lab operations in accordance with BayCare’s standards and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform all diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

    + Prepare reagents and report results per established policies and procedures

    + Review and oversee moderate to high‑complexity testing

    + Monitor and maintain laboratory computer applications

    + Maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and supplies

    + Follow all regulatory guidelines and comply with quality standards

    + Support daily workflow and assist with operational needs

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    •** **Certification & Licensure

    + **Required:** State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

    •** **Education

    + **Required:** Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field

    + **Preferred:** Bachelor's degree in a related field

    •** **Experience

    + **Required:** Clinical laboratory experience

    + **Required Specialization:** Minimum **4 months of experience**
