    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Certified** **Medical Assistant** to join our outstanding and compassionate team **!**

    + **Location:** Behavioral Hlth Harbor Comm Recov

    + **Status:** Full Time, Exempt: No

    + **Shift Hours:** Varies

    + **Weekend Work:** None

    + **On Call:** No

    + How often will this team member be working remotely? Hybrid

    The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for:

    + Responsible to provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs

    + Records and documents vital signs, patient weight and height

    + Performs non-intravenous injections

    + Assists with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals

    + Obtains information required for meaningful use.

    + Conducts face to face visits, handles medical service-related telephone calls

    + Monitors and maintains inventory and equipment

    + Travel required to various program sites

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Certification/Licensures:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) -

    + FL Driver's License

    Required Education:

    + High School or Equivalent

    Preferred Experience:

    + 1 year – Behavioral Health
