We are seeking Research Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Join a tight-knit team of four scientists where you will receive direct mentorship and hands-on training. This role is designed for an eager, flexible scientist who wants to build a strong foundation in Molecular Biology. Your primary focus will be building an antibodies library through high-volume cloning and PCR workflows

What You’ll Be Doing:

+ **Library Construction** : Execute DNA fragment assembly, purification, digestion, and cloning into vectors

+ **PCR Execution:** Perform PCR protocols daily, demonstrating a strong understanding of the underlying principles (not just following a recipe)

+ **Cell Culture:** Work with yeast, bacteria and mammalian cells for growth, transformation and RNA extraction

+ **Process Rigor:** Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and protocols with precision. Monitor acceptance criteria for all assays.

+ **Learning & Growth:** Train under senior scientists to master diverse cloning methods and molecular techniques.

What We Are Looking For:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or related field with 1-2 years of hands-on academic or industry lab experience OR Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology/Chemistry

+ Hands‑on experience with PCR, cloning and sequence analysis

+ Knowledge of microbiology techniques including yeast and mammalian cell culture

+ Familiarity with Molecular Cloning (restriction digestion, ligation, transformation)

+ Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $51,800.00 - $108,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
