    Our Facility in Mt Sterling is seeking aa experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team!

     

    **POSITION SUMMARY:** Performs repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment under supervision on production lines and facility equipment in the assigned areas.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Performs repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment under supervision on production lines and facility equipment in the assigned areas.

     

    Equipment is identified as but not limited to conveyors, motors, and gear drives, hydraulic/pneumatic units,compressors, boilers, and associated water treatment equipment using testing instruments, hand and powertools and precision measuring equipment.

     

    Works from blueprints, drawings, sketches and layouts.

     

    Installs functional and structural parts in devices or equipment.

     

    Dismantles devices to remove defective parts.

     

    Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment that is facility or production related.

     

    May assist other mechanics in the troubleshooting and repair of their duties.

    Requirements:

    High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

     

    Must meet minimum testing requirements as defined by Nestlé of Mt. Sterling, KY

     

    Intermediate math aptitude and detail orientation

     

    Working knowledge of Lock out Tag out system

     

    Be able to read and comprehend what is read

     

    Have Good Manufacturing Practices

     

    Intermediate communications and interpersonal skills

     

    Good mechanical and electrical skills

     

    All other duties as directed

     

    The approximate hourly pay for this position is $29.50 - $32/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
