The Angular Developer will be responsible for upgrading a legacy AngularJS application to Angular 15, driving architecture decisions, mentoring the team, and ensuring best practices in design, development, and security.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced **Angular** **Developer** to join our team. This will be a **full-time, contract and hybrid** position located in Trenton, NJ.
What You’ll Do
+ Lead the development team in upgrading client applications from AngularJS to Angular 15
+ Understand functional requirements and technical specifications to implement robust technical solutions
+ Design, develop, and test software applications as both an individual contributor and team leader
+ Define system architecture, technology standards, integration patterns, and data flows
+ Ensure compliance with architectural governance, security standards, and best practices
+ Conduct code and architecture reviews to maintain quality and consistency
+ Mentor development team members and guide them on best coding practices
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
What You’ll Need
+ Strong experience with Angular 7- Angular 15
+ Proven ability to lead Angular upgrade projects from legacy frameworks (AngularJS)
+ Experience guiding development teams and conducting code reviews
+ Ability to mentor and enforce best practices
+ Knowledge of system architecture design, security standards, and integration patterns
+ Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing enterprise applications
+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities
+ Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite)
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
