    Assistant Finance Director

     

    Grant County is recruiting for an Assistant Finance Director. This

     

    position assists the Finance Director in the overall financial management

     

    of Grant County. It includes supervising assigned staff, coordinating

     

    accounting activities, managing the county’s financial systems, and

     

    ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. This position

     

    plays a key role in budget preparation, financial reporting, and system

     

    administration, and serves as a backup to the Finance Director.

     

    Benefit Position: 80 hours bi-weekly; Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

     

    Salary: Starting at $3,241.60 bi-weekly (effective 1/1/2026)

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,

     

    Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (preferred but not

     

    required); Five (5) years of experience in financial management; government

     

    experience preferred; Three (3) years of supervisory experience desirable;

     

    Experience in utilizing Tyler MUNIS ERP software preferred
