    GENERAL FUNCTIONS

    Assist Mail Services and Copy Center with daily operations such as mail & package delivery and related functions.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following are typical responsibilities associated with this position. The specific responsibilities may vary and will be assigned accordingly by the supervisor.

     

    + Assist with mail & package delivery.

    + Unload delivery trucks, move packages and equipment in loading dock and receiving area.

    + Help prepare mailings and fill supply orders.

    + Assist Copy Center with duplicating jobs, e.g. cut, assemble, staple, laminate, etc.

    + Assist with inventory updates and related projects.

    + Other related functions as requested.

    Job Requirements:

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    + Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.

    + Ability to walk and move delivery carts around campus.

    + Customer service oriented.

    + NYS driver's license preferred but not required.

    Equipment Used:

    May use computer for occasional directory reference, and possibly other projects depending upon skill level.

    Physical Demands:

    Position involves lifting and moving of packages generally up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs.

    Additional Information:

    Work Schedule / Availability: Position starts January 20. Work hours may be flexible Mon-Fri between 8 am and 3 pm.
