    Job Description:

    Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as an Information Systems Security Officer supporting the Case Management Modernization (CMM) Program. The CMM program is an initiative to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AO) in developing a modern cloud-based solution to support all 204+ federal courts across the United States.

The **Task Lead/ Project Manager** will work as part of the CMM Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team to deploy a secured cloud-native EDW platform and support the statutory and operational reporting, data cataloging, and other analytical objectives.

     

    The successful candidate will be an experienced Task Lead/PM with a long track record of successfully managing projects with similar operations scope. The Task Lead/PM is responsible for supervising all personnel, managing senior-level customer relationships, and overseeing delivery driving process and quality improvement. The successful candidate will be a change agent, not content with the status quo. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role. The role requires the ability to successfully juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent work streams. The successful candidate will thrive on the challenge and help the teams achieve a high degree of operations maturity.

    The Task Lead/PM will execute the following responsibilities:

    + Act as the single point of contact to oversee contract execution and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

    + Manage internal and external communications strategy, reporting, and coordination.

    + Responsible for the overall performance of the call order such as formulating work standards, assigning Contractor schedules and resources, reviewing performance, cost, and budget information; supervising Contractor personnel; and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.

    + Ensure desired results by determining and implementing objectives and allocating appropriate resources.

    + Manage the development, operations, and implementation tasks using Agile Project Management techniques.

    + Create and maintain a roadmap, aligning tasks with organizational strategy, vision, and business outcomes for the CMM effort.

    + Facilitate project meetings, document meeting summaries, capture key decisions, and track action items.

    + Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to include milestones, dependencies, and other details.

    + Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs),and other related documents consistent with AO standards for any agreements, processes, procedures, and tasks established under this SOW. Examples will be provided at the appropriate time.

    + Provide biweekly Agile reports such as sprint reports, backlog reporting, sprint burndown charts, sprint retrospective reports, risk registry, etc.

    + Develop and update the Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) log, and other project management related artifacts.

    + Perform risk identification and mitigation. Identify and communicate technical, operational, and business risks; develop mitigation strategies.

    + Provide transparent reporting, with regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, financials, and outcomes.

    + Provide the COR and government leads with analysis and research, of alternatives, and solution and design options related to the Case Management Modernization effort upon request.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + 7 to 10+ years’ experience in IT Management including technology solutions delivery, and software development lifecycles (SDLC).

    + The Task Lead must possess bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

    + The Task Lead must possess a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).

     

    The likely salary range for this position is $157 - $213. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
