Job Title: Inventory Control / Shipping Specialist

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM | Monday-Friday

Inventory Control / Shipping Specialist Job Duties:

+ Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records

+ Oversee a small team of employees

+ Conduct regular inventory counts and audits

+ Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

+ Coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and warehouse staff

+ Perform shipping duties

+ Enter and update inventory data in inventory management systems

+ Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory

+ Prepare inventory reports and documentation

+ Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

+ Follow company safety policies and procedures

Inventory Control / Shipping Specialist Job Requirements:

+ High school diploma or GED required

+ Previous managerial experience

+ 1–3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or related experience

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software preferred

+ Ability to analyze data and solve problems

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
