    Expected hourly range of $36.78 to $40.87, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

     

    Primary Purpose of Position

     

    Perform the duties of a Stationary Engineer 1 or Stationary Engineer 2 as required. Operate plant equipment in a cost-effective, safe, and reliable manner. Scope is to include plant operations and mechanical maintenance in the plant environment or distribution system as required. This role will serve as a fill-in or relief operator when vacations or absences impact schedules. Otherwise, it will serve during business hour

    Primary Duties and Accountabilities

    + Monitor assigned plant operations through various controls systems/technologies.

    + Lead or assist in preventative or corrective maintenance activities on mechanical, electromechanical, or control systems throughout the plant.

    + Generate work orders for specialty trade groups as need for advanced maintenance requirements.

    + Ensure water quality at assigned plants by executing prescribed water management procedures and maintaining proper plant chemistry.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High school diploma/GED

    + 5-years of experience operating stationary equipment or marine utility operations

    + Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical plant components (Pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, metering devices )

    + Previous experience performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance

    + Strong organizational skills including reporting, Email, and Microsoft Office

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Stationary Engineers License

    + Experience with Siemens Desigo platform

    + 7-years or more experience operating in a district energy system or central utility plant creating chilled water and steam
