Description
Training Coordinator for T-45 CLS. Manages the unit Training
Program. The Training Coordinator will oversee and support the day-to-day
implementation and delivery of training, and support training administration efforts
including data entry and system administration. Responsible for maintaining currency
and adequacy of training certifications and qualification requirements. Reviews training
requirements and takes the administrative actions necessary to ensure that all contractor
personnel fulfill all training, qualification, and certification requirements. Serves as
facilitator for general subject matter courses, and for maintenance training in his/her
areas of expertise and qualification. Assists the Management/Lead Inspector in training
and directing training activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Facilitate training programs to ensure that all employees are properly trained
and/or certified as required.
• Identifies training requirements which cannot be satisfied within the unit and
makes other arrangements for these to be satisfied, subject to approval by the
Quality Manager.
• Prepares requests, through appropriate base agencies, for training for
employees from external resources.
• Controls the administration to include record maintenance of initial orientation
training, recurrent safety and security training and follow-on formal technical
training.
• Monitors and tracks training program progress, objectives, and goals.
• Tracks and coordinates recurring qualification/certification requirements.
• Maintains and updates training records of all site personnel
• Provides training plan inspection cycle.
• Coordinates training schedules and documentation requirements.
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, entering and
maintaining training records
• Manage required course communications and notifications
• Performs training certification and qualification data entry
• Update and revise training program-related processes, procedures, and
supporting documentation based on lessons learned, continuous improvement
processes, or other guidance as appropriate.
Assists flight line foreign object prevention walks.
• Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOO awareness/prevention and
safety at all times.
• Maintains the hiqhest ethical personal and professional standards.
• Other projects and initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
• Two or more years training-related experience.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively via telephone and e-mail with employees in varying job classifications, including above average proficiency with MSOffice Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook) is required.
• Detail orientated with excellent organization skills. System data entry accuracy a must.
• Knowledge of training program management, administration, and duties.
• Must deal with the customer in a courteous and professional manner.
• Must demonstrate exceptionally effective communication skills, in English, both oral and written, and be able to organize, implement, coordinate, monitor, and track training requirements.
• Must be willing and able to obtain for a security clearance.
• Must be able to work day shift, night shift, or weekends as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a basic knowledge of computers and be able to input and extract data.
• Some travel will be required.
• Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company proprietary data.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Ph sical Demands:
This classification activities range from an office-like environment with extensive sitting demands to a flight line-like environment with extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May occasionally be required to lift objects whose weight exceeds 30 pounds. Special vision abilities to erform this ·ob are close vision, de th erce tion and the abilit to ad·ust and focus.
Work Environment:
The diversity of work conditions may range from an office environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to a flight line environment where inclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and electrical shock hazards.
