Job Description​

Saint Luke’s in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Accounts Representative to join our team. You will perform a variety of functions related to managing the accounts receivable, following established processes and polices for billing and reimbursement.

Ideal candidates will be 1 year of Medicare experience 2 + years of commercial/medicaid experience.

**Shift Details:** Monday- Friday

Responsibilities:

+ Performs claim edits

+ Verifies insurance coverage

+ Follows up with payors on open accounts

+ Performs denials and payment variances

Experience with facility claim submission for a hospital system is preferred.

Epic experience a plus.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate has strong computer and critical thinking skills and can multitask.
