About the Project
This internship will be based on the East End of Long Island, supporting a major construction initiative that involves complex coordination and field operations. You'll be part of a team driving progress on a high-profile project, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and solutions in construction management. The position is for immediate start. Candidates must able to manage school and work schedule with a reasonable amount of hours available for the project.
Role Overview
The Project Management Intern will assist Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents in coordinating and executing construction activities. This role offers practical experience in project documentation, scheduling, communication, and field support within a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
+ Support Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents on assigned tasks.
+ Process submittals, gather/distribute information, and maintain accurate project documentation.
+ Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.
+ Track and inspect material deliveries to ensure compliance with project requirements.
+ Provide field support for daily operations and assist with resolving onsite coordination issues.
+ Perform other tasks as assigned by the project team.
