As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a retail location.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

    + Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted behaviors.

    + Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.

    + Interact professionally with store staff, visitors, and customers to address inquiries and provide assistance.

    + Follow all Allied Universal protocols related to armed patrols, including proper handling and carrying of assigned equipment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Be at least 21 years of age.

    + Must have an active Texas Armed Security License

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
