As a **Armed Security Officer - Parking Lot Patrol** in **San Antonio, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site guidelines.

+ Assist with crowd control and/or access control as needed, based on the needs of the retail environment.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ You must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
