    Join our Payroll team as a Payroll, Time and Absence Partner at our site in Royston, Hertfordshire.

     

    We are looking for a Payroll, Time and Absence Partner to join our HR Payroll team at Sartorius. In this role, you will perform standard payroll processing and time management tasks in a timely and accurate manner. You will also provide support and advice for all standard payroll and time management related queries.

     

    The team consists of five professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.

     

    This position is available full-time with a salary of up to £38,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. This is an onsite role at our Royston site, with hybrid working available for 2-3 days a week once fully trained.

    Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

    + On a daily basis you will be processing payroll queries from employees, including Tax code queries, SSP, SMP, SPP etc, all of which are received via Workday

    + You will be responsible for checking payrolls with the team, the UK Payroll team run 9 Monthly UK Payrolls, 2 Ireland Payrolls and 1 Weekly UK payroll

    + You will participate in the administration of adding and removing employees to the benefit schemes such as Dental and Medical Insurance

    + You will work closely with the HR Service team for monthly payroll changes, such as bonus payments, absence data, benefits deductions and more for our Payroll Bureau to complete the processes

    + Do you enjoy conducting complex calculations whilst continuously learning in the role? You will create and calculate SMP and SHPP Schedules, keeping yourself up to date with UK PAYE legislation

    + In addition, you will manage the Holiday absence process and respond to any relevant enquiries

    What will convince us

    + You have a good level of education in a relevant field

    + Strong experience in processing payroll within a small to medium size organisation

    + Detailed know-how in labour tax, social security, UK PAYE legislation and manual Payroll TAX and NI Calculations

    + Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis

    + Ability to multitask and prioritise workload, being adaptable to change when needed

    + Good communication skills and attention to detail

    + Have an understanding of company cars and submission of P46 documents
