Description
SAIC is seeking engineers to provide Site Implementation support to the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling. Requires approximately 75% travel within the United States.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES MAY INCLUDE:
+ Assisting with FDIO modifications.
+ Reading site drawings.
+ Installing and validating hardware and software.
+ Cable fabrication and testing.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees.
+ Knowledge of computer hardware comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification.
+ Knowledge of cable paths and protocols
+ Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Excellent organization and communication skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
+ US Citizenship.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
