• Project Controls Specialist

    • Responsibilities

    + Maintain, manage and update projects schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 on a monthly basis or as needed.

    + Maintain proper project and activity codes in the Primavera Systems.

    + Review project status periodically and identify schedule/cost variance.

    + Perform project/program/portfolio cost and schedule analysis.

    + Prepare monthly capital progress/variance reports and assist in preparation of executive level summary reports.

    + Conduct analysis of the capital plan spending and forecasting, evaluate and report on project progress and performance.

    + Coordinate and collaborate with other project controls specialists; mentor and supervise junior project controls staff, as needed.

    Required Skills/Experience

    + Project Controls Specialist requires 1-3 years of hands-on Primavera P6 experience on version 8.3 or higher.

    + Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, accounting, economic or business administration discipline or a Project Management Professional certification along with a technical degree.

    + Minimum of 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of project control.

    + Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products, Primavera (Oracle’s Project Management software).

    + Must possess a valid driver’s license
