    Purpose:

    The Project Manager, Distribution leads cross functional initiatives that improve distribution performance with a strong focus on inventory allocation, network flow, and third party logistics execution. This role partners closely with inventory planning, supply chain, distribution centers, and 3PL providers to ensure inventory is positioned correctly and executed accurately. The Project Manager drives projects tied to DC readiness, SKU placement, allocation logic, and operational improvements within both internal and external facilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Leadership

    • Lead distribution projects focused on inventory allocation improvements, network optimization, DC onboarding, and 3PL execution

    • Own project timelines, scope, communication, risk management, and stakeholder alignment

    • Coordinate across planning, supply chain, operations, logistics, and IT to deliver project outcomes

    Inventory Allocation and Positioning

    • Improve inventory allocation strategies to ensure the right products are placed at the right nodes to support customer experience and cost

    • Analyze demand patterns, replenishment settings, and shipment data to identify misallocations or capacity risks

    • Collaborate with planning teams to optimize SKU placements, stocking strategies, and safety stock

    • Monitor network inventory flow and troubleshoot issues related to inbound delays, overstock, and understock

    3PL Management and Execution

    • Partner with 3PLs to align on inventory allocation changes, capacity forecasts, and operational impacts

    • Ensure 3PLs execute inventory movements, slotting, and stocking changes accurately and on time

    • Lead project-level operating reviews with 3PL teams focused on accuracy, throughput, and inventory health

    • Support corrective actions within 3PL operations tied to mispicks, inaccuracies, shrink, or allocation failures

    • Collaborate with 3PLs on layout changes, storage expansion, and process redesigns related to inventory flow

    Distribution Operations Support

    • Work with DC and 3PL leaders to validate storage requirements, material flow, and capacity constraints before allocation changes

    • Support system, layout, and process updates needed to operationalize new allocation strategies

    • Assist with inventory accuracy investigations, cycle count improvements, and root cause analysis

    Data Analysis and Reporting

    • Develop reporting tools and dashboards for allocation performance, network inventory health, and 3PL execution

    • Use WMS, planning, and replenishment data to build insights and actionable recommendations

    • Communicate findings clearly to leadership and cross functional teams

    Process Improvement

    • Identify allocation, replenishment, and 3PL workflow gaps and drive end to end corrective actions

    • Document standard processes and training materials for allocation and inventory flow updates

    • Support continuous improvement efforts across DC and 3PL operations

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field

    • Five or more years of experience in distribution, inventory management, supply chain, or project management

    • Strong knowledge of inventory allocation, replenishment, and distribution center operations

    • Experience working with or managing 3PL providers

    • Excellent project leadership skills with the ability to influence across multiple departments

    • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in Excel, Tableau or Power BI

    • Understanding of WMS, planning systems, and replenishment tools

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with network design, slotting strategies, or DC capacity modeling

    • Knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methodologies

    • Background supporting new DC launches or 3PL transitions

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $122,000.00 - $212,750.00

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

    Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

     

    Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

     

    Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

     

    Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

     

    Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

     

    Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

     

    Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

     

    Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

     

    Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
