    This position is assigned the duties of assisting the Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the pre-analytical and analytical testing of samples. The Sr. Clinical Lab Technical Assistant (CLTA) is required to demonstrate detail oriented behavior that proactively contributes to reaching the goals of cost-effective, high quality patient care services through appropriate utilization of resources. The CLTA is expected to take an active role in contributing ideas to an efficient work flow and process improvement.

     

    *Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*

    * 2 years of full time experience in a laboratory setting performing assays similar in scope and complexity to the Clinical Laboratory setting or 2 years of college with a minimum of 16 hours of life science classes required.
