• Associate Order Management Representative

    Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for an Associate Order Management Representative at our East Chicago, IN office. As an Associate Order Management Representative at Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, you will be part of a team that is directly responsible for the entry and processing of varied customer purchase orders. This position is highly focused on data entry throughput, and reliant on accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    + Understand customer purchase order, contract, and/or part specification sheet requirements and how the information is applicable to the production of the steel

    + Enter orders using appropriate technologies into various entry systems

    + Review and check orders for discrepancies and/or errors, updating where appropriate

    + Develop knowledge of internal business processes and systems

    + Process customer order changes that impact the manufacturing/processing or shipment of the steel

    + Review and resolve order issues with internal stakeholders

    + Understand specific production plant capabilities

    + Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor’s degree

    + Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to demonstrate attention to detail

    + Ability to demonstrate time management and organization skills

    + Effectively communicates with team internally and externally

    + Ability to multi-task and prioritize

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + High volume order entry/processing experience

    + Knowledge in SAP or other ERP Systems
