    Description

    We are seeking Lifeguards to join our ChildServe swim program! Located at our Johnston campus, our indoor pool is kept at a comfortable 92 degrees year-round and serves a variety of purposes, including respite groups, swim lessons, exercise, and therapy sessions.

     

    Schedule

     

    + Flexible Monday-Friday with shifts between 12-4 pm or 4-8pm

    + Weekend opportunities based on need to support birthday parties or family swim

     

    How You’ll Make an Impact

     

    + Assist with the facilitation of the aquatic services to both children we serve and community users

    + Ensure pool policies and guidelines are adhered to

     

    What You’ll Need

     

    + Lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross

    + Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

    + First Aid Certification

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language.
