    MAINTENANCE - DAY SHIFT

    Temporary Position (3-6 Months - Temporary)

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Lawn maintenance/Snow removal/Grounds Maintenance

    + Must have a valid NYS Driver's License, must have reliable transportation

    + Answers maintenance calls throughout the day

    + Performs minor maintenance/repairs to building & property

    + Repairs building cracks, interior & exterior

    + Maintain equipment & tools daily, routinely & seasonally

    + Assists with special projects/jobs that become a priority

    + Coming in on off-hours when needed (will be compensated)

    + Assist with Cafeteria garbage & final day cleaning

    + Run errands as needed

    + Painting as needed

    + Stripping/Waxing floors during school breaks

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

    + Janitorial work as needed

    + Additional responsibilities as they come up

     

    PAY RANGE DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE: $16.00 - $17.00/Hour

     

    High School Graduate or GED - 18 yrs. old or older

     

    Mandatory Overtime during inclement weather conditions (will be compensated)

     

    HOURS: 7 am - 3 pm - 30 minute lunch with (2) 15 minute breaks (Paid by the School)
