    Ransom Road based; May be assigned to other District buildings as needed.

     

    Tue-Fri: 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Sat: 10:30am to 6:30pm

    Salary:

    $24.23/hr per SRP Contract

    Duties:

    + Perform various cleaning and upkeep tasks including mopping floors, washing walls, ceilings and windows, dusting woodwork and furniture, stripping and waxing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, collecting and disposing rubbish.

    + Perform recurrent and routine semi-skilled maintenance and repair work such as fixing or replacing broken shelving, hinges, locks, window panes and sash cords; unclog toilets, traps and sinks; replace faucet washers, fuses, light bulbs, and ballasts; paint furniture, walls, fixtures, etc.

    + Provide basic building security services.

    + Maintain grounds by cutting grass, trimming shrubbery, raking leaves, and shoveling snow.

    + Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Reachable on the Civil Service Custodian list; or

    + Currently hold the Title of Custodian; or

    + Ability to pass the Civil Service Custodian Exam when available

    Qualifications Desired:

    + Positive evaluations.

    + Proven ability to interact with faculty/staff, students and parents.
