    POSITION: Kindergarten Teacher, Substitute

     

    EFFECTIVE DATE: February 2026

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Early Childhood (Birth-2) Certification preferred, will consider Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) Certification

    DESCRIPTION:

    Provide instruction to students in a Kindergarten classroom according to NYSED Learning Standards and building-based curricula, covering for a leave of absence.

     

    Collaborate with grade-level team members, special education teachers, and student support providers to create a culture for learning for all students in the classroom.

     

    COMPENSATION: Days 1-29 $155/day, Days 30+ Step 1 daily rate
