The Lake Shore Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Music Teacher (K-12)- Vocal and/or Elementary General Music Posit ion. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated K-12 Music Education Teacherto join our faculty. The ideal candidate will hold current certification in K-12 Music Education and demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively across diverse classroom and vocal settings. A strong understanding of, and commitment to, theNew York State Learning Standards for the Arts is essential.

Salary: Per LSCTA Contract

Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in accordance with curriculum goals and NYS Standards; Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that foster creativity, skill development, and musical appreciation; Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents; Direct and support instrumental and/or vocal ensembles as assigned; Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student growth; Plan and direct performances, concerts, and other school music events; Fulfill supervisory and instructional duties consistent with the role of a teacher.
Qualifications: Current New York State certification in K-12 Music Education; Experience in both classroom and vocal music instruction; Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; Ability to inspire a love of music in students of all ages and abilities.
