* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

* Collects corrugated waste throughout plant and determined if board can be salvaged. Operates the shredded/baler to dispose of unsalvageable board.

* SAFETY PROCEDURES:

* Read and understand SAFETY RULES & HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES and receive training in proper operating procedures

* Receive instructions in the following:

* Fork Truck operation

* Hearing protection

* Safety shoes

* Moving machinery

* Conveyor safety

* Lifting and pushing/pulling

* Emergency stops

* Danger area around shredder/baler

* Personal protective equipment

* HOUSEKEEPING:

* Perform daily cleanup of area

* Dump trash as needed

* Perform extra clean up during downtime

* Maintain neat & orderly area

* DUTIES:

* Collects waste throughout plant

* Separates salvageable stock from bad

* Sorts salvageable stock for pads & slitter material

* Shreds & bales onto rail car

* Loads bales onto rail car

* Weigh, tag & log bales

* Loads wire spools on baler

* Un-jam system if clogged

* EQUIPMENT OPERATED:

* Computer input terminal

* Fork Truck

* Shredder/baler

* QUALITY:

* Ensures no waxed board is COMMUNICATION:

* Verbal

* Written

* EDUCATIONAL TRAINING:

* Ability to read, write & do basic math

* Ability to read a tape measure

* Certifies fork truck operator
