    Smurfit WestRock is now hiring Clamp Truck Drivers at its Germantown location! \u202F

    Shift: 1st Shift - 7 AM - 3 PM, OT or weekend work may be possible

    Starting Wage Range: $23.42/hr with increase to $25.96/hr after probation

    Additional Incentives:

    * Shift Differentials ($0.50/hr for 2nd shift, $0.60/hr for 3rd shift)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \u202F

    Clamp Truck / Roll Stock\u202Fresponsibilities include:

    * Pulling paper rolls from warehouse and supplying them to corrugator as needed.

    * Keeping track of butt rolls.

    * Assure proper size and grade of paper is brought to the machine.

    * Assure proper footage is brought to the machine.

    Starch\u202Fresponsibilities include:

    * Mixing all starch for the Corrugator, keeping tank levels at the appropriate levels throughout the workweek.

    * Checking the viscosity and gel temp after each batch.

    * Prepare borax for each batch and put carrier starch in the mixer at the proper time.

    * Keep starch area clean.

    Other\u202Fresponsibilities include:

    * Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    * Comply with the safety guidelines and safety rules provided by the company.

    * Perform other duties as required.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:\u202F

    * Ability to deal with other employees and management in a courteous, tactful and patient manner.

    * High School diploma or GED Preferred.

    * Previous experience preferred.

    * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

    * Ability to safely operate Clamp Truck and Forklift.

    * Ability to read and understand scheduling sheets.

    * Ability to read and understand a tape measure.

    * Must\u202Fbe\u202Fable\u202Fto\u202Fmaintain\u202Fgood attendance.

    * Must\u202Fbe\u202Favailable\u202Fto\u202Fwork\u202Fovertime\u202Fand\u202Fweekends or other shifts.
