Job Description
**Lead global reliability engineering for advanced avionics systems!** Teledyne Controls delivers cutting-edge solutions for commercial aircraft worldwide. As Director of Reliability Engineering, you’ll oversee performance monitoring, failure analysis, and reliability improvement across our product portfolio—driving corrective actions and enhancing dependability.
What you’ll do
+ Track and analyze MTBUR and MTBF metrics across product lines
+ Generate monthly reliability reports and maintain KPI dashboards
+ Lead root cause investigations and manage the FRACAS process
+ Develop reliability plans for new products, including FMEA and maintainability analysis
+ Respond to OEM and airline inquiries with detailed analysis and corrective actions
+ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure component-level reliability
+ Manage field returns database and escalate systemic issues
+ Directly supervise reliability engineers and data analysts
What you need
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field _(required)_
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering _(required)_
+ Strong knowledge of root cause analysis techniques _(required)_
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Access _(required)_
+ Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) _(required)_
+ Familiarity with aerospace/defense products and standards _(advantage)_
+ Industry certifications in reliability engineering _(advantage)_

Salary Range:
$141,900.00-$189,200.000
Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
