Job Description
The Export Compliance Coordinator is responsible for classifying parts for the supply chain and trade compliance team. They will be responsible for obtaining and verifying for accuracy the required proof of export documents, executing ERP system transactions, completing Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) filings, and liaising with the Trade Compliance team to confirm licensing requirements. They will serve as a key program team member ensuring consistent communication between various departments and program leads to facilitate timely and compliant imports and exports of international orders. This team member may also assist the International Compliance Manager with document preparation, coordinating customer routed shipments, export clearances, and import clearances.

Skills and Requirements
• 2+ years of professional trade compliance and/or supply chain experience.
• Experience classifying parts under Schedule B and ECCN.
o Schedule B = 10 digital US statistic code – used for tracking.
o ECCN = Export control classification number – 5 letter code for export controls to determine if license is required to export part.
• Knowledge of international trade compliance – product importing and exporting.
• Experience completing “ACE” Automated Commercial Environment fillings for customs and border documentation compliance.
• Strong Excel skills – pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.
• Strong communication skills and ability to problem solve.
• BA in related field. • Power BI
• Aviation industry experience / working with aircraft parts and compliance
