Job Description
An employer is looking for a Network Architect to perform a comprehensive analysis of
the current corporate network environment and develop a secure, scalable future-state
architecture. The consultant will partner closely with internal technical leaders to provide
recommendations, guidance, and detailed tactical plans to strengthen network security,
segmentation, and operational resilience. This person will conduct a deep technical review of the existing network, including:
• Network topology, routing, switching, and segmentation
• Firewall architecture, policies, and traffic flows
• Ingress and egress design and associated security tooling
• PAN platform features currently licensed vs enabled
• Core switch and router capabilities and configurations
• Network protections for employees, applications, and customer-facing systems
Deliverables in this phase include documented findings, diagrams, and identified gap

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of experience in Network Architecture
8+ years of experience with Palo Alto
8+ years of experience with Panorama
8+ yeas of demonstrated ability in assessing current state, identify gaps and risk, and produce a future‑state architecture that is secure, scalable, and operationally realistic.
Heavy documentation and collaboration with stakeholders Cloud networking: AWS/Azure/GCP (VNET/VPC, TGW/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, cloud firewalls, hub‑spoke).
SD‑WAN/SASE: Design/selection experience and integration with PAN and identity.
Automation: Practical use of PanOS/Panorama APIs, Ansible/Terraform for network artifacts, source‑control practices.
Security analytics: SIEM integration patterns (e.g., Splunk/Elastic), alert tuning, runbooks.
Certifications: PCNSE (Palo Alto), F5 (302/304/401), CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or vendor equivalents.
