    Job Description

    Overview:

    We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee a multi-skilled die maintenance team. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal die performance through corrective actions, preventive maintenance, and machine shop operations, while managing associated personnel and resources.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Workforce Management: Plan and schedule manpower to meet operational requirements.

     

    Problem Resolution: Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for die-related issues.

     

    Preventive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all dies.

     

    Policy & Procedure Development: Establish and maintain die maintenance standards, practices, and procedures.

     

    Skill Development: Design and manage training programs to enhance technical skills of die maintenance associates.

     

    Priority Scheduling: Oversee and manage downtime (DT) priority schedules to minimize production impact.

     

    Operational Excellence: Ensure safety, quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery within die maintenance and machine shop operations.

     

    Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

     

    2–4 years of experience in machine shop and maintenance operations.

     

    2–4 years of supervisory or management experience.

     

    Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 standards preferred.
