Job Description
An employe is looking for a highly skilled Director of Project Management to join one of our largest national healthcare clients for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is a 6-month contract with eligibility for conversion based on budget availably and performance. In this role you'll join a growing team of 120 across the enterprise. This team roles up through the client's state government solutions sector and is supporting the State of West Virginia regarding enhancements for The Big Beautiful Bill. This project specifically supports the integrated Eligibility system in the Maintenance & Operations phase of the project lifecycle with significant functionality to be delivered as part of the M&O contract. This team is focused on 3-4 main workstreams: child welfare, child support, and family assistance & childcare. In order to be successful on this team, you must have prior experience supporting a government client and about 10 years of experience working within the project management space.
Responsibilities:
-Release Planning ensuring that requirements are clear across dependent project streams with an effective release
-Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules
-Managing relationships working on interrelated processes across teams
-Managing the development of deliverables into production environments
-Measuring and monitoring progress to achieve a timely software release within defined budgetary limits and defined quality standards
-Communicating crucial release plans and changes
-Communicating necessary release details to business teams
-Deployment management of deliverables to the test environment
-Producing deployment, implementation, and run books plans Initiating and overseeing the development of technical guides and training for external functionality, where applicable Conducting release readiness and milestone reviews Validating release notes
-Leading and coordinating checklist and deployment plan execution Ensuring that releases operate as per expectations

Skills and Requirements
• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience
• 5+ years experience in Release Management across multiple teams
• 5+ years of experience in project management for a State Medicaid Agency or a large healthcare management organization
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• 5+ years experience with Integrated Eligibility project
• 5+ years of experience with project in the M&O phase of the project lifecycle.
• 10+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
• Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) session
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Proficiency with MS Visio -Client facing experience with State Medicaid agency and demonstrated ability to handle large scale initiatives
-Ability to build collaborative client relationships, resolve/manage risks and issues, and plan/manage/deliver multiple maintenance/enhancement releases per year with 12-14 deliverables updates per release with a matrixed team of resources.
-Experience managing third party vendor contracted to deliver the Spanish Translation functionality.
