    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a senior accountant to work for a major healthcare system. This accountant will be supporting the reimbursement department. This accountant will help with journal entries, month end close, reconciliations, run reports, gather data, work heavily with excel and any ad hoc projects assigned to them. This team is focused on general accounting and looking for a senior accountant who has experience being in the weeds with month end close. This is a remote short-term contract with potential extensions or possible full time hire. This candidate must sit in AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, or WY.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5 years of accounting experience

    • Experience with general accounting

    • Experience with journal entries, reconciliation, balance sheets, accruals, general ledger

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related degree

    * Experience working with different departments and leaders • Experience using Workday

    • Healthcare experience – big plus

    * Reimbursement experience

    * OneStream experience
