    Job Description

    A client is looking for a Design and Analysis Engineer 3 to support overall safety initiatives across all programs, including 737, 767, 777 and 787. As part of the safety organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies that align with the company's commitment to excellence and innovation.

    Job Duties:

    - Conducts system research and analysis to identify potential or investigate reported inservice fleet hazards, risks and safety concerns and quantifies impact.

     

    - Identifies safety and mission assurance, issue systemic root causes and recommends corrective actions using industry best practices

     

    - Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to define, validate and integrate safety, mission success and airworthiness requirements; incorporates this into designs, operation and procedures. Documents safety analysis, hazard mitigation, validation and verification activities in compliance with relevant customer an regulatory safety standards.

     

    - Assists with demonstrating safety hazard risk mitigations and control methods to customers and regulators

     

    - Ensures mission success through execution of Mission Assurance activities throughout the program lifecycle

    Skills and Requirements

    Must haves:

    - BS or 5+ years exp in engineering OR MS and 3+ years OR PhD with some work experience. Degrees must be accredited.

     

    Previous Boeing exp preferred
