Job Description

One of Insight Global’s major clients are seeking a Senior-level Electrical Engineer to join their organization. General responsibilities include:

• Conducting visits to equipment manufacturers

• Provide technical and quality oversight of subcontractors work onsite

• Assist procurement department with purchasing and ordering of necessary materials

• Conduct review of equipment layout designs and specifications as well as various other engineering drawings

• Provides oversight of electrical equipment installation and evaluation

• Participates in creation of preventative maintenance programs

• Takes part in commissioning and startup of electrical power systems

• Assist capital projects group with project management tasks

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering

• 10 years’ experience related to design and upgrade of electrical power systems for power generations plants

• Familiarity with step up transformers, generators, and various other electrical equipment within a power system • Capital project management experience
