    Job Description

    The Staff Accountant II is a subject matter expert in the Finance Department and may be assigned to perform a broad range of tasks to include maintaining and controlling the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, updating and maintaining the Cost Accounting System, completing cash reconciliation or fixed assets, applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records. This position may also be assigned to serve as the primary back-up to the Payroll Coordinator to support the completion of a bi-weekly payroll.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years of accounting experience.

    • Proficient with Excel

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

    • Experience with Sage Inacct 1+ year within a healthcare setting.
