• Senior Product Owner (AI/ML Focus)

    Job Description

    Our client is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join its enabling technology team. This role will focus on partnering with internal business units to define and deliver AI and Machine Learning solutions that enhance digital experiences and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong product ownership skills, technical acumen, and adaptability in a fast-evolving environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Backlog Management & Delivery:

    - Own and manage product backlogs, write user stories, and ensure smooth sprint execution.

     

    - Drive day-to-day delivery with engineering teams and maintain delivery rhythm.

    Strategic Focus:

    - Provide medium-term roadmaps and align product priorities with organizational goals.

     

    - Identify opportunities for scalable and reusable solutions across portfolios.

    AI/ML Enablement:

    - Collaborate with teams to integrate AI/ML into existing and new use cases.

     

    - Understand technical feasibility and guide stakeholders on realistic solutions.

    Cross-Functional Partnership:

    - Build strong relationships with internal teams (e.g., Digital Advisor Experience, Digital Client Experience).

     

    - Act as an enabler for business units lacking native AI/ML capabilities.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner or Product Manager.

     

    - Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (not necessarily PhD-level, but able to converse with engineers and stakeholders).

     

    - Ability to break down complex work and maintain delivery momentum.

     

    - Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments; adaptable mindset.

     

    - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Bedrock experience a plus).

     

    - Familiarity with Databricks and Salesforce.

     

    - Exposure to agentic solutions, automation, and personalization technologies.

     

    Location & Travel

     

    - Remote candidates welcome; preference for local is secondary to technical expertise.

     

    - Must be willing to travel quarterly to Minneapolis or Appleton for team events.
