Insight Global is seeking a Proposal Analyst to join a power generation company located in Glastonbury, CT. The role is in person and the ideal candidate will be onsite 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of proposal or financial analysis experience. This Proposal or Business Analyst will have a finance focused or economics background and will be joining the Aftermarket Business group who partners closely with many levels of the organization including engineering, projects, quality, procurement and field service personnel. Experience working in the engineering or manufacturing industry can be beneficial as the Proposal Analyst will deal with a volume suppler contracts/master service agreements focusing on spare parts, repairs and overhauls. Day to day the candidate will provide cost models and proposal analysis from cost sheets as well as assist with forecasting and new unit sales. The candidate will use a CRM system and must possess a strong understand of MS office suite of applications, specifically Excel in order to display spread sheets and run pivot tables.

Skills and Requirements

- Experience handling volume of contracts or supplier service agreements with ability to analyze cost

- Finance/Economics or equivalent background is preferred

- Strong MS Office skills including MS Excel for cost/spread sheets and pivot tables

- Ability to work independently at times and complete proposal requests - Experience working within an Engineering or Manufacturing based industry

- Exceptional communication skills with ability to partner across cross functional departments
