    Job Description

    Our client a contract manufacturer specializing in metal fabrication, complex weldments, custom fuel & hydraulic tanks and architectural metals is looking for an Advanced Development Engineer in Hartford, Wisconsin. This role will be unique as it's responsible for having an impact on design and creation of product, interfacing with customers to be an extensions of their engineering team, and helping advise the internal engineering organization. They need a leader who is equally comfortable strategizing in the boardroom and consulting on the plant floor. Your background must feature deep expertise in heavy equipment component design, specifically, FEA & Structural Mechanics, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Hydraulic Systems & Materials, Prototyping & Validation. This organization offers a wide range of products for OEM's; products include custom tanks, loader arms, undercarriages, etc. This role will work alongside two other ADE's and report into the VP of Sales.

    Skills and Requirements

    10 years of related Mechanical Engineering and customer interaction experience.

     

    Working proficiency in CAD - 3D Design and Modeling.

     

    Working proficiency in FEW.

     

    Ability to effective interface with customers. experience with Creo CAD
