    Job Description

    A leader in the managed care industry is hiring for a REMOTE Business Systems Analyst to join their IT delivery team that is responsible for owning all the requirements for their LTSS (long term support services/long term care) LOB. Currently, the team works in 2 week Agile sprints to illicit, document and review requirements across three verticals (internal IT, internal business stakeholders, and their external implementation partner. As a BSA on the team, you will work with corporate operations to ensure their requirements have been properly defined using methods like GAP and SWOT analysis. Leveraging your Agile skillset, you will translate BRD's into user stories and work with the Product Owner to align the backlog prioritization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid business processes, so they can ask detailed questions while illicit requirements and avoid any critical gaps. This is a very collaborative team that meets multiple times a week to brainstorm solutions together, but being able to navigate your day independently is also important to meet the urgent project demands.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within the healthcare and/or managed care industry

     

    - 5+ years of experience supporting 2+ projects simultaneously

     

    - 2+ years of experience translating requirements into user stories for Agile driven projects

     

    - 5+ years of experience working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio for documentation and leadership presentations
