    Job Description

    Senior Infrastructure Engineering Consultant – Microsoft GCCH Focus

    We are seeking a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Engineering Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, particularly within Microsoft 365 Defender and Purview ecosystems, and a strong focus on GCCH (Government Community Cloud High) environments. This role will lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and security projects across Microsoft 365 Commercial, GCC, and GCCH tenants, ensuring technical excellence and outstanding client satisfaction.

     

    You will leverage your experience in cloud-based security, hybrid infrastructure, and compliance frameworks (e.g., CMMC, CIS Benchmarks, NIST) to architect and implement secure, scalable solutions for clients operating in highly regulated environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Serve as a subject matter expert in Microsoft 365 security and compliance, including:

    Defender for Microsoft 365, Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps

     

    Azure Active Directory and the Purview Suite

    GCCH-specific configurations and constraints

    Architect and implement security controls, policies, and frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, Zero Trust, MFA, FIDO2, identity governance) tailored for GCCH environments.

     

    Lead infrastructure modernization efforts integrating on-premises systems (Active Directory, Windows Server) with Microsoft 365 and Azure.

     

    Stay current with evolving security threats, compliance mandates, and Microsoft GCCH platform updates.

     

    Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

     

    Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership.

    Skills and Requirements

    Qualifications

    5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and security, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 Defender and Purview solutions.

     

    Proven experience working within GCCH environments, including tenant setup, compliance, and security hardening.

     

    Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure integration with on-premises infrastructure.

     

    Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CMMC, DFARS, NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001.

     

    Strong project management and organizational skills.

     

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
