• Production Control Coordinator

    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Production Control Specialist to sit fully onsite in Middle River, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed status reports for assigned parts and assemblies, tracking identification, quantities, schedules, and completion dates. You will monitor and expedite materials through operational processes to ensure production schedules are met, while proactively identifying and resolving material discrepancies in collaboration with procurement, engineering, and shop floor teams. Daily activities include liaising with multiple departments to address manufacturing challenges, schedule changes, and engineering modifications, as well as maintaining raw material inventory to meet standard protocols and support customer confidence. You will manage demand fluctuations by soliciting updated rates and adjusting material flow, assist with shop order and finished parts inventories, and ensure timely release and movement of materials. Additionally, you will support production efforts by coordinating activities with peers and empowering team members to take ownership of tasks.

    Compensation:

    $25/hr to $27/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - High School Diploma, Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain preferred

     

    - Experience using SAP for inventory tracking

     

    - Experience tracking inventory within a production environment

     

    o Advising buyer when levels are low

     

    - Experience taking an asset through the bonding process to each assembly

     

    - Strong communication skills

     

    - Self motivated

     

    - Available to work 6:30AM to 2:30PM
