    Job Description

    Our Healthcare Insurance Client is looking to hire a Android Developer. This position is remote work from home and is a 1 year contract with the opportunity for renewal. This mobile team works on their flagship secure member portal for insurance members. We are looking for strong Android Developer with experience in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, GitHub and Jetpack Compose. Additional requirements are listed below.

    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience developing Android Applications.

    • 4+ years of experience with Java/Kotlin, and the Android SDK

    • 3+ years of experience with Git/GitHub

    • 1+ years of experience in Jetpack Compose.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Understanding of core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture

    • Experience with multi-threaded programming with Kotlin coroutines

    • Experience with writing unit tests

    • Knowledge of MVP and MVVM patterns

    • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe software development principles

    • Knowledge of Android accessibility features

    • Working with designer/design team to implement UI

    • Knowledge of Circle CI or other CI/CD tools

    Education

    Bachelor's degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience(HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
