    Insight Global is on the lookout for enthusiastic Lead Superintendent to join a large commercial construction company and support construction projects in the healthcare, K-12, and higher education sectors. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a passion for growth within our team.

     

    The Lead Superintendent role is on-site and involves supporting commercial construction projects, including new builds and renovations in sectors such as medical, higher education, and K-12. They will be the first person on-site, organize and prepare for their day, complete daily meetings on the job site with foreman, will give locations to workers, make sure the # of people on-site is correct, RFIs, drawings, answer questions, mentor, and follow up with completion of tasks.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    They need 7+ years’ experience truly running work as the lead Superintendent.

     

    - To be an Assistant Superintendent they need minimum 3 years’ experience.

     

    - Medical, Higher Ed and K-12 experience, both New Construction and Renovations. Do not need specific education

     

    - Construction Management and Design Build experience preferred

     

    - Charleston office does more medical builder over education but still need experience in both (within past 5 years)
